The chat pop up won't go away and my mouse cursor only dictates to click on the screen but not while firing guns in the game. I even tried pressing Y to make it go away but it won't. It happen on TDM. Most of the time, the mouse cursor is on the screen but cannot aim. I only use WASD to move and fire whatever I can do.

Try to relog in sir when you encounter that bug

not only in in game chat,when you bumped into a teammates it will freeze from my ingame expercience.
